Morgan Delt‘s new album Phase Zero is fresh out on the Sub Pop label, lush, verdant psych perfect for your next interstellar trip. That is also the theme of the new single and video, “Some Sunsick Day,” where director Lionel Williams sets phantasmagoric CGI visuals to Delt’s music. Says Williams:

Following the narrative of “Phase Zero” – the video represents a flux in space-memory after mankind has spontaneously dematerialized. Traveling from a disenchanted Earth to a new planet in the cosmos, the remnants of human life are harnessed through the motion of architectural crystallization, as humanity’s memories and dreams are projected as fractured ruins upon this new dream world’s landscape.

The “Some Sunsick Day” video premieres in this post and you can check that out below.

You can catch Morgan Delt on tour with fellow Sup Pop band Mass Gothic. That tour starts tonight (9/14) in Chicago and will hit NYC on September 24 at Baby’s All Right with Palmas. Tickets for Baby’s are still available.
